 3A molecular sieve is a kind of molecular sieve (alkali metal alumino silicate) whose aperture is 3 Å.

Sometimes, it is also called 3A zeolite molecular sieve.

3A molecular sieves do not adsorb chemicals whose molecular diameters are larger than 3Å. The application characteristics of this molecular sieve include fast adsorption speed, frequent regeneration ability, crushing resistance and pollution resistance. These features can improve its use efficiency and prolong its usage life. 3A molecular sieves are the necessary desiccant in petroleum and chemical industries for refining oil, polymerization, and chemical gas-liquid depth drying.
